Everything's coming up roses

Everything's coming up roses

Not for nothing is Portland, OR, called The City of Roses. Sure, it's got a fabulous rose garden overlooking downtown. But the town's manhole covers are adorned with roses.

Using Lightroom's Post-Crop Vignetting tool, I set the amount to a positive value (+73), which turned the vignette white instead of black. Using a Roundness setting of +80, I was able to place the vignette right along the edge of the manhole cover without needing any feathering.

For more on how to use the Post-Crop Vignetting tool, see pages 180-181 of the Lightroom 3: Visual QuickStart Guide.
